There is, then, plenty of landscape around to enjoy, and that is also the case at the hacienda itself, with a total area of 5000 square metres featuring over 50 almond trees, various species of fruit trees and fields and fields of flowers. Spectacular sunsets greet the visitors in early evening and a blanket of stars is accentuated by the lack of artificial light all around. That said, although this may feel a remote haven, the hacienda is nicely near to the local little village of El Paso and the historic town of El Llano de Aridane, as well as being only 20 minutes away from the island’s capital Santa Cruz and the airport.
Cottages are 65m2 in area, designed for two people, with bedroom, bathroom, living room and a well-equipped kitchen. They also have their own private terrace with barbecue, sun loungers, parasol and a hammock. Owners Alfredo and Sonia have created a fantastic and peaceful setting here, surrounded by their dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens. The hacienda building features a swimming pool just outside, as well as a spa and solarium. With the grounds so expansive, guests can go for a stroll and they can just disappear into the nature all around; an ‘infinity garden’ if you like!

What We Say:
La Palma is an excellent choice of Canary Island to explore. Alfredo and Sonia have created three very comfortable cottages with plenty of space to appreciate the relaxation that a stay here surely brings. This is the place to go to get away from the people who got away from it all. From the Guestbook:
