Finca Malvasia is a 'boutique' guesthouse and vineyard providing luxury self-catering apartments with the option of a gourmet bed and breakfast service.
The unique and stunning location amongst the dormant volcanoes of Lanzarote creates a fabulous location for a memorable holiday.
Finca Malvasia is located on a 20,000 sq metre working vineyard in Masdache, at the heart of the La Geria wine region surrounded by the stunning backdrop of the Timanfaya fire mountains. Hosts Tarnya and Richard have spent many years in Lanzarote and are always on hand to make their guests feel welcome.
A stay at Finca Malvasia is as peaceful as it is stylish. There are four individually designed apartments set around the Cesar Manrique style pool all within a landscaped garden. (Cesar Manrique is the world-renowned Lanzarote architect who created the style that runs through all the best design on the island.) The garden is abundant in palms, bananas, avocado, bougainvillea and fig trees. Beyond there’s the extensive vineyard and beyond that again, the volcanoes.
The four apartments are spacious and bursting with stylish design, offering a choice on one-bedroom or two-bedroom accommodation. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a lounge with feature volcanic rock walling, stunning bathrooms (some with indoor gardens), comfortable beds with luxurious bed linens, satellite TV, CD and DVD player. For home-from-home comforts there’s a well-stocked honesty bar and a welcome pack of fresh tea, coffee, milk, water and local produce ensures that guests will not go hungry or thirsty on arrival.
For most people, the hub of Finca Malvasia is the pool, surrounded by terraces, trees and a barbecue. It’s an ideal place to relax and take in the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding countryside. There’s also the novel yoga and treatment room built of local volcanic stone providing on-site spa facilities for guests to truly relax and rejuvenate themselves.
Restaurant:
There is no restaurant at Finca Malvasia, however there are several within a short drive. Plenty of excellent restaurant recommendations are available!A gourmet breakfast can be provided. Breakfast is served on the apartment's private terrace and includes locally made artisan croissants and bread, cereals, homemade preserves, fruit salad and a fruit smoothie together with tea and coffee.
The hotel can also offer picnic lunches and ‘gastro’ barbeques for larger groups, booked in advance.

What We Say:
Does it get any better than this? The ultimate spot for an informal, relaxed holiday in idyllic surroundings. Customer Feedback:
"Having visited Lanzarote many times over the last ten years, Finca Malvasia has been the the most beautiful and special place my family and I have ever stayed in Lanzarote. Nestled in a valley, surrounded by breathtaking views of volcanoes and vineyards, the generous sized rooms and central location within the island to the beaches and other tourist spots made it a perfect base for us. The owners' personal restaurant recommendations ensured that we also discovered new and delicious aspects to the local cuisine. We can't wait to go back." E.S.
"We can’t wait to return! Thank you for making us so very welcome. Your attention to detail was fabulous." M.D.
"Finca Malvasia is like a tribute to Cesar Manrique! We loved the pool and the barbeque was even bigger than the one at the Fundacion, it was a really special holiday. Thanks for all the ‘gastronomic’ restaurant recommendations too!" J.W.
"Richard and Tania are excellent hosts and we found the island a fascinating and delightful place." L.A.
